FAQ

How far in advance should we book for our elopement?

Typically between 6-12 months before your big day, to secure your date. Of course we can pull off something amazing in a shorter amount of time. It just won't allow for as much planning and potentially being flexible on your date.

Do you take on larger weddings?

I will shoot micro weddings up to 20 people. But to give my elopement clients the attention and planning they deserve, I unfortunately don't have the capacity for larger weddings.

Do we have to hike for our elopement?

Of course not. This is your day, so it's tailored to you. I will have a variety of options where we can drive close enough to a spot where we don't have too far to go and still get incredible views. There is always the option of chartering a helicopter or plane to specific locations if you're looking for a more grand backdrop and the privacy.

How many images should we expect to receive?

It really depends on the package you book, but typically you'll receive 50-75 images per hour of shooting.

How long will it take to receive our final gallery?

I will send out 15-20 images from different portions of your day 48-72 hours following your elopement. I want you to be able to continuing celebrating and sharing with your family and friends! Then your full gallery will be delivered to your inbox 6-8 weeks from your elopement.

What happens if the weather is unfavourable on the day of our elopement?

I'll have a plan B and C in place, but if it's not too bad and you're up to embrace a bit of the drizzle, I'll be down as well. Sometimes it can make for some really amazing images and memories.

Can we bring our dog along?

It's completley up to you! I love dogs, and encourage them to come along, but of course if your dog isn't well behaved or will take away from your focus, I would suggest that we find a sitter while we're out all day so you aren't stressing the whole time. If you choose to bring them along I'll make sure to prep you with helpful tips and find locations that will be dog friendly.

Do we need to hike in our wedding gear?

It's up to you! Depending on your outfits and if you'll be comfortable or not. If you are, I say do it. It's a fun part of the gallery to document. But definitely the most important thing is having comfortable footwear, then swapping them out once we get to your location (or keep them on if thats your vibe!!)

Can we have family and friends come along?

Of course - although I don't shoot anything larger than 15-20 people. Logistically it gets a bit more complicated and some locations may not accommodate that.

I often suggest having a send off dinner before your day, or when you get back - officially married, to celebrate with them.

Can we book you if we're eloping outside of BC?

Of course! I love to travel so please reach out and let me know where your dream destination is!
